I have been a student of Bree Lewis. She is an EXCELLENT teacher. She is patient, kind, instructive, inspiring and helpful. She challenged me to learn more. I am very grateful she was my instructor for several years. Bree is a great teacher with children and adults.

My daughter was first introduced to the violin by Bree. She has fallen in love with this instrument and has decided that this is an instrument she will continue to play even when we move. I am excited that she has found a passion for playing. Bree is a great teacher. She is patient with her students and they truly learn a lot! If we weren’t moving we would continue to use her!

The technical expertise that Bree offered was phenomenal, but it was always accompanied by a care for and understanding of individual strengths and weaknesses, and the flexibility to adapt to every student. I learned a ton from these lessons.

Bree is so joyful and positive, and her energy is youthful, which really helps connect the kids. She has caught my oldest daughter up from where she left off years ago, and my youngest daughter has already learned so much. She’s made them both feel confident, while building their skills and to me, that is invaluable. My husband and I are very picky when it comes to music teachers for our kids as we both majored in music in college and my husband is a musician by trade. We wanted someone who will teach my children solid fundamentals that they can carry with them from state to state, and that will be the bedrock to continuing to learn the proper techniques. Bree has done all of these thing and more.

Working with Bree has not only helped my music studio “thrive” but I have gained a new level of confidence in my presence as as music teacher both online and offline. Bree went above and beyond to go through my website and online presence. She gave suggestions about what to put where and pointed out broken links. She even watched several of my video tutorials and reminded me of how funny I am. Bree researched the area I live in and suggested music stores and businesses that I could advertise with. Bree is about community and making connections. She has created a community for teachers like you and me on Facebook. There are questions and suggestions every day that keep me inspired to grow my studio and share my knowledge. I am grateful to Bree for creating this community: for connecting people who are often very isolated in the work they do. I would sign up for the Thriving Music Studio package again in a heartbeat!

Thank you for all you have done for me. Not only is Bree a wonderful teacher and musically gifted. She is a wonderful coach and mentor. I have learned a lot from her on how to make my business a big success. Thank you again.

Bree has great attention to detail and that has really helped my understanding of how best to grow my music studio. I teach voice and piano and have recently moved. I felt at a loss in how social media could enhance my growth of more students. Because of Bree’s business coaching, I now understand what I was doing wrong with my social media presence and how to enhance my website. She is genuinely interested in her students. My daughter has already learned so much and we haven’t been clients very long. Bree is so patient and helps me work through the stress I come under when performing. Her techniques take away the overwhelming feeling a long and difficult song can cause and she helps give me confidence I need when performing and practicing.

I started taking lessons on the viola with Ms. Bree Lewis 2 months ago, and she has taught me so much!  I can play better than ever because she is so helpful, kind, and funny.  She is the best teacher around, and she makes me feel like a natural viola player. 

My child is always happy to go to lessons her with Bree, and she’s always happy on the way home from the lessons. Bree makes Shen feel comfortable, encouraged, and she has progressed a lot on violin. She is firm with techniques while maintaining warmth as well. She intuitively knows to let them have the time and space to learn rather than pushing on them too hard that they may lose interest. We’re sad that she is moving!

Bree has been our daughter’s violin teacher for almost two years. Our daughter was a beginning student who had two years of learning through the Suzuki method.  In other words…she couldn’t read notes.  Fast forward to now…and not only can she read notes, but her confidence level and interest in her music has increased substantially! Bree’s style of teaching instills confidence building, skill building and fun…all at the same time. Our daughter now plays with the Honolulu Youth Symphony and we know that it’s all because of Bree!

Briana has improved a great deal and she is also very comfortable with you. She cried when I told her you were moving, you have been a fantastic teacher. Thank you!
